Annotation:

The purpose of our research work is to study the effectiveness of a complex of physical exercises on the results and assessment of physical performance in children with scoliosis at the age of 7-10 years. Object and research methods. The study was conducted on the basis of the Oleksiyevo-Druzhkiv general educational sanatorium-boarding school of the I-III degrees No. 13 for children with scoliosis, Donetsk Regional Council. The research was based on the results of the impact of the complex program of the developed physical exercise technology on the leading indicators of physical capacity, relative capacity, absolute and relative heart volume, stroke volume and minute volume of blood circulation; cardiac index according to RWS; MCO by heart volume; blood flow rate; absolute and relative value of MCO. The indicators were studied according to the methods outlined in the corresponding section of the work. Results. When analyzing the results of the assessment of physical performance in children with scoliosis at the age of 7-10 years, it was found that in boys with scoliosis, the hyperkinetic type of blood circulation was found in only 11.1%, while eukinetic – in 33.3%, hypokinetic – in 55, 6%. In boys and girls at the age of 7-10 years, a satisfactory increase in systolic volume was noted during loading before the use of physical exercises. It was also found for the indicator of the increase in minute blood volume. The increase in minute blood volume in response to exercise occurred in both girls and boys without a significant gender difference. When assessing general working capacity, both girls and boys of the control group were characterized by low general working capacity with positive dynamics after conducting a complex program of physical education. Conclusions. Determination of the maximum oxygen consumption made it possible to characterize the indicator as «high» in all studied groups, which indicates good adaptive and compensatory capabilities of the body of a 7-10 year-old child with scoliosis. Prospects for further research. The main scientific data obtained in this article are the basis for the next stage of research aimed at studying the effectiveness of the impact of a complex of physical exercises on the results and assessment of physical performance in children with scoliosis at the age of 11-14 years.
