There are data on the anti-inflammatory effect of aprotinin in the scientific literature, when it is applied topically and when administered by electrophoresis for the treatment of chronic inflammatory processes. The introduction of aprotinin with fluctuating currents, the so-called fluctuoresis, in particular in acute serious inflammation is of scientific and practical interest. The purpose of this study was to investigate in an experiment on rats the effect of aprotinin, administered by fluctuoresis, by estimatimating the histamine and serotonin levels of blood on the model of acute aseptic inflammation. 42 rats were modeled with carrageenan peritonitis in the experiment. 30 minutes later, after injections of carrageenan, animals of the first experimental group (EG1) were undergone with fluctuorization, using low-frequency electrotherapy device “Radius-01” (Belarus), and animals of the second one (EG2) were undergone with fluctuoresis on the basis of aprotinin-based preparation for 10 minutes. Control group (CG)- without physiotherapeutic effect. After 30 minutes (1 subgroup) and 60 min (2 subgroup) – 7 animals of each group were taken out from the experiment. It has been proved that the combined application of aprotinin and fluctuating currents in the form of fluctuoresis (EG2) resulted in a decrease of the histamine content in the mesogaster, compared with the control group by 30% (from 1,01±0,046 to 0,71±0,077 mkg/g) in animals of the first subgroup and by 66% (from 1,76±0,247 to 0, 58±0,101 mkg/g) – of the second subgroup. After in taking of aprotinin it has been revealed a decrease of serotonin in blood, compared to similar control subgroups by 13% 30 min. After fluctuoresis and by 38% after 60 min. As a result of the studies, it has been proved that in taking fluctuoresis by the medicine, the main active substance of which is aprotinin, significantly inhibited the development of acute phase of the inflammatory process, and this was confirmed by a decrease of serotonin content in blood and histamine in the mesogaster tissues on the model of acute aseptic inflammation. The combined effect of aprotinin and fluctuating current have caused more pronounced reduction of the studied inflammation mediators than fluctuorization.
