The cardiovascular system of the human body is important in providing children with spinal defects, which prompted us to study the indicators that characterize the activity of the cardiovascular system. Purpose of the research was to study the peculiarities of the cardiovascular system in children of primary school at the age of 7-10 years with scoliosis compared to their almost healthy peers. The materials and methods of research. The bases for the study were: specialized general sanatorium boarding school № 13 for children with scoliosis in Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka and secondary school № 17 in Sloviansk, Donetsk region. The study was conducted in 15 children at the age of 7-10 years with scoliosis (9 boys and 19 girls). As a control group, the similar studies were conducted on 22 healthy peers (12 boys and 10 girls). Results. Formed scoliosis in boys and girls at the age of 7-10 years leads to disorders of the cardiovascular system, which negatively affects the physical performance of these children. The mentioned above are inferior to almost healthy peers in terms of pulse pressure at rest, systolic blood volume after the first and second rest, maximum aerobic capacity at rest, exercise and after I and II rest; by relative maximum aerobic power and mean aortic pressure at rest, exercise and after the first and second rest. Scoliosis in children at the age of 7-10 years negatively affects the performance of the cardiovascular system, reducing the relative maximum aerobic capacity at rest by 76.47%, at standard load – by 23.84%, after the first rest in 2.11 times and after the second – by 78.95%. A slightly different pattern of disorders of the cardiovascular system of physical fitness of girls at the age of 7-10 years with scoliosis. Almost all indicators, except for the systemic blood volume during exercise (an increase of 12.35%), are significantly lower than in almost healthy girls. To improve the physical performance of children at the age of 7-10 years with scoliosis, it is necessary to select individual physical exercises to correct the work of the cardiovascular system in order to improve performance. Conclusion. Thus, scoliosis in children at the age of 7-10 years adversely affects the cardiovascular system, lowers pulse pressure, systolic blood volume, maximum aerobic capacity, pulse tolerance limit and cardiac aortic pressure. These different quality changes require the development of individual, for different ages physical exercises to improve the physical performance of children at the age of 7-10 years with spinal pathology.
