The catastrophic increase in the prevalence of type 2 diabetes and osteoporosis, as well as a high degree of disability in patients with this pathology, indicates the importance of optimizing approaches to the timely diagnosis and treatment of these diseases. At the moment, a close relationship between osteoporosis and type 2 diabetes has been proved. To determine the presence of osteoporosis development factors in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, a survey is conducted using a minute test questionnaire. Given the pathogenesis of osteoporosis in type 2 diabetes, it was proposed to expand the list of questions in the questionnaire to more accurately determine the predisposition to the development of osteoporosis. Purpose of research. Creation of a questionnaire for patients with type 2 diabetes with concomitant nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and without it, to identify their early signs of OP. Subjects and methods of research. The supplemented and adapted form of the questionnaire for patients with type 2 diabetes, consisting of 25 questions, was used in 137 patients (72 women and 65 men) who underwent in patient examination and treatment in the clinic of the SI ‘V. Danilevsky Institute for Endocrine Pathology Problems of the NAMS of Ukraine’, were under observation in the consultative policlinic of the SI ‘V. Danilevsky Institute for Endocrine Pathology Problems of the NAMS of Ukraine’, and also passed inspection and treatment in the conditions of a day hospital of consultative policlinic. Research results and discussion. The proposed adapted form of the questionnaire allows us to analyze in more detail the possible causes of the development of OP, taking into account almost all possible pathologies. A number of questions of the questionnaire are aimed at a possible shortage of magnesium, given the increased need for magnesium in stress, infections, physical activity, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. Conclusions. Given that with the help of the questionnaire it is possible to prevent the development of osteoporosis by affecting the modified factors affecting the development of this pathology, it is planned to further use the questionnaire in the practice of doctors.
