Першим бар’єром та основним компонентом плодово-материнського інтерфейсу на ранніх етапах розвитку є структурні компоненти ворсинок хоріона. Детальне вивчення експресії імуногістохімічних маркерів Ki67 (нуклеарний маркер проліферації клітин) та iNOS (відіграє важливу роль у фізіологічних та патологічних процесах, наприклад – запальних) в структурних компонентах ворсинок хоріона, різних ознак їх відповіді на молекулярному рівні при звичному ранньому невиношуванні вагітності дасть можливість зрозуміти патогенез цієї патології. В результаті проведеного дослідження спостерігалось зниження активності експресії Ki67 в ядрах клітин цитотрофобласту при спорадичному та звичному невиношуваннях вагітності, що свідчить про зниження процесів проліферації та диференціації компонентів гемато-плацентарного бар’єру, сповільнює його фор-мування і може відігравати ключову роль у розвитку невиношування вагітності.
